Bamboo Propagation Workshop

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

At Twig

Join local bamboo specialist David Benfield of Brighside Bamboo to learn about this amazing and hearty grass!

Learn about the many varieties of bamboo that are available for landscaping, food production and construction.

Bamboo containment and control will also be a part of the discussion

Visit Twig's table exhibit at Chapel Hill's Earth Action Day

Composting & Vermaculture Demonstration

Join Muriel Williman at Twig to discuss composting and to see a composting demonstration.

Muriel will be joining us from the Orange County Solid Waste Management Department.

Plus, Twig's owner Shawn Slome will be bringing in his own Can o' Worms to show how easy vermaculture can be!
